These phones introduced with the camera phone like many complex systems is the result of converging and enabling technologies. It has been noticed that digital camera of the 1990s, a consumer-viable camera in a mobile phone would require far less power and a higher level of camera electronics integration to permit the miniaturization. It all started when inventor Daniel A. Henderson, first featured still image and non-live video-clip transfers, using the world's first wireless camera phone prototype, known as the 'Intellect', was developed in 1993. It was a system and device that was designed to receive pictures and video data sent from a message originator to a message center for transmission and display on a wireless device such as a cellular telephone.
Nowadays almost every another telecom firm is launching camera mobile phones I.e camera is integrated with the mobile phone.
